after 15 yrs of karting its time to move on, yes there are teething problems, very few i minght add. pls,, dont liken this to kf, its nowhere near as expensive. (proof, last max rebuild 908 quid, had 2 of these tuned 1 by oggy 1 by gfr 250 each,and then u can fit ur own piston to do another 10 hrs. dont be suckerd into it needs a piston every hr,, it doesnt, ) i was one of only 2 kart going round wombwell in a max and everybody looked at me gone out as it poped and fa**ed its way round but i stuck with it because i thort it was the next thing,, and here i am again,, probs with it are battery and starter,, both of which are well under way to being sorted. ppl who drive max will never be competative purley because the carb powervale and far too many add ons make the power divide too large, unless ur paying top brass and spendin on the dyno,,,
