First time for us, initial problem was entering the post code into the sat nav. The postcode or address on the much circulated flyer was not the one of the venue. And the Drum type sat nav. did not recognise the Ricoh Arena so we promptly called the number on the flier and they in turn text us the correct post code, end of problem.
Dont believe it would be either exspensive or time consuming to have hung a single poster just behind the pay booth facing the entrance (re useable each year.) showing a small map, main hall to right workshops to the left. Maybe our problem but, it was our first time and we were looking for more. Another little issue, (sorry Martin Capenhurst) We enjoyed the workshops and found them very interesting, I asked for information to take away to read, this was not available, so alternatively we should have sat and attended all of them, the problem with that is killing time between the lectures, we did all of the main hall three times, maybe condense the workshops or run them back to back adding extra speakers. Who also did a good job.
I should add we really enjoyed the Kartmania show. I would never have gone to the trouble to write this but somebody said feed back would be welcomed. We would go again. Maybe pfi would mave been a better venue, central to the country and perhaps some testing of various karts and equipment going on.
