Personally, I'm not bothered about comradery, or even camaraderie, when I'm racing! That doesn't mean that I am unfriendly or unhelpful to others, simply that its not important. But I do like to feel that the organisers are impartial and applying the same set of rules and standards wherever I go. Non msa may be bigger, but it does depend on your definition of Karting! Having lived through the days when there was only msa karting, but when on telling people I did karting I was informed that they had done karting at the seaside while on holiday, and then having to explain that I did real karting-16000rpm-70mph etc etc and seeing the total lack of comprehension in their faces, I long ago decided that something with a 5.5hp 4 stroke does not qualify as karting, any more than the old Barnard Formula 6 qualified as motor racing! What non msa events do you attend, Alan?
