We thought about moving to Super Cadet however it appears there will only be worthwhile grids at S1 or FKS and at best 1 or 2 clubs if they can sustain grid numbers. If that is the case this will be a very costly class to kick off with all new equipment and with little opportunity to race it could be an expensive mistake.
I think it may have a chance if LGM or Easykart were to disappear either because of a lack of WTP engines or dwindling numbers at EK. At one stage it appeared that JM had the intension of using European Super Cadet type engines as a replacement to the WTP, if that is the case they would need to constrain the engine models and other technical criteria but that may still be part of the long term plan to replace the W60 in 2013.
