The Club 100 site shows the cost for the sprint series at �166 per round (11 rounds) or �1700 for the series (prices include VAT). They also hire suit, helmet and gloves for �10 per day.
It is a national series so you will also need to add in travel etc.
To give you any meaningful comparative cost for owner/driver racing we would really need to have some idea of where you are based (if you want club racing only) but as a rough guide for a national series like Esaykart, costs would be along the following lines:-
Kart - from �1200 to �3000 depending on if you buy used or new.
Practice and race fees for 8 rounds �900
Fuel for above �200
Tyres �1000 (depends if you have a new set for each round)
Spares e.g. oil, chains, sprockets �300
Damage to kart �????
Suit, helmet, gloves. msa licence (maybe medical)
Travel etc would be similar except that you also need to transport your kart or get someone to do it for you.
Can you mechanic for yourself? If not you need to pay someone and cover their travel etc.
You will need an engine rebuild - say one per season.
