Thanks for the advice. I have taken a back seat, and the team, who are family orientated, have coached him. The son has done super 1, and it is his gear we use. We know it is a proven chassis. We know the engines, carbs etc have won at super1 level. We did have him focused, and he responded, and confidence was sky high,but after the brakes issue, I feel he has taken a step back, looking for an excuse. As for money, we are on a shoestring budget, and it pains me to see him not enjoying racing, but I could easily go away for the weekend with the wife, and still save money. I don`t take it too seriously. I know the parents you are describing. We treat it as a hobby, not the be all and end all.We know he can drive, and win, but just now he is off the boil, and I don`t know why that is.I would like to turn that around.
