To add to the debate, we are doing FKS in minimax this year, our 1st year at national level in any class, (also our 1st year in minimax)
We are finding we need 3 drums of fuel to cover the 3 days, at GYG I had appros 5 litres left over, (wouldn't have made it on 2 drums!)
The regs state 1 set of slicks for the weekend, and 2 sets of wets
We have been bagging the wets, but it's a big rush to get them off the wheels after the final on sunday, so I have taken to leaving one set on wheels, and bought a spare set of wet wheels.
travelling for us is massive, (GYG was a 9 hour drive each way!! but I am trying to put together a budget for next year, as we are enjoying the series so much, loads of track time, and (so far) no real damage to chassis etc. I am quite impressed with the driving standards in minimax at FKS.
