currently racing both cars and Karts. why all the moans and groans about cars, if a lad is to heavy for lets say Junior max and the dad can aford to race cars surley its better for the kid to race a car and be competative than racing a kart just to make up the numbers because he cant get anywhere near the min. weight. kart grids are not THAT bad at the moment, too many classes are whats killing the sport. plenty of new cadets coming into the sport .
yes cars are an expensive layout in the begining but you are not replacing chasies every 4 meetings to stay at the front. and once you have your car the same car will do you for 2/3 years with a bit of good maintainace. its also not as hard as is made out to set up a car, once its set up only a few tweeks each meeting. if a newbie comes into karting they have no chance, its hard enough learning to drive let alone changing axles, ride height , correct wheels, correct seat, correct front torsion bar . i am not knocking karting as we have had the best weekend away racing karts over the last 8 years , and met some fantastic peopple, there are 1 or 2 TW*TS but thats in all walks of life
ITS JUST HORSES FOR COURSES
