I think anyone would have a tough time modelling a kart accurately through a variety of series of manoeuvres.
To do any sort of FE/Dynamic analysis you need to understand a huge array of info about the vehicle already...the most obvious of which is mass/stiffness? We all know car chassis are designed to be nice and stiff to isolate suspension performance to that particular system-you are then considering an infinately stiff body mass and four unsprung masses with springs/dampers either side (7 Degrees of freedom).
For the exact reasons in other replies above I would be suprised if even large companies like Tonykart understand the stiffnesses of their seats/floor trays etc in various positions and directions? For each 0.000000....1m of "hub" travel, all these values will change, the solution would be horrific!!
I know people have tried, though. Anybody with any info??
