They've got Super One there on 2 weekends and have also got Easykart there for 3 days this year so it's not as if they don't have the facilities, in fact it's far the opposite.

Speaking for myself it's hard to get to towing a trailer on winding twisty roads, it's about a 2 hour trip and the petrol alone costs around �35 - �40 just in traveling costs. If I wanted to make the trip it would have to be a mini holiday to make it worthwhile and I'm only likely to do that once per year so a regular race there is out of the question for me even if it was a IndiKart event.

I think for the big events then GYG will always be a serious contender but for a club meeting it will always struggle given the location it's in.
