I agree that the price initially looks a bit steep but having raced at Hooton since 2011 and also attended the recent Three Sisters none MSA test day I can personally justify the difference in price. Hooton is cheap and cheerful but basically you get a ribon of greasy Tarmac, a set of lights and Tommy with his chequerd flag. Three sisters seems to be much more professional, more marshals, better circuit, better facilities, much more safety consiouios and better organised.
I also think Three Sisters have done a great job organizing the dates in and around their own commitments and respecting that of the Hooton meetings as well. As previously said there is no need to choose between Hooton and Three Sisters if you don't want to. It can only be a good thing for Karters having more choice of venues where we can race none MSA.
