Andy - looking at the results for last month I agree that they could have created more track time by mixing comer and honda cadets. A lot of comer and honda drivers do not like their clases being mixed because of the different performance between the classes (honda has a lot more low end so is more forgiving if you mess up a corner). Some drivers don't mind but others feel it spoils their racing. Apart from that, the only other classes small enough to be merged were KGP and KZ2 and I doubt if that would work. You could agrgue that these classes should have been cancelled because entries were low but unless a club accepts initially low entries then the class will never grow and KGP seems to be growing at S1 level. The other big problem is the light at this time of year makes the race day quite short. Maybe one solution is to have championship rounds between April and September and non-championship rounds when the days are shorter. I really do not have a perfect (or even good) solution. Bucky says they are a greedy club but I have no idea what he means by this as it is run by volunteers who may get basic expenses but not vast salaries. I often used to drop our entries through the club secretary's letter box and never spotted casually parked Bentley's or Aston's on the drive!
