What's Pylon, like now... the same as it's been for the last few years. Blindish turn, hop the kerb but just the lower one as you'll get a telling off or more if you aim to go airborne over the higher of the two, land, turn, don't go too wide on the exit.
On the yellow's, I heard (which means chances are I've got it completely wrong :) )that a few people argued something along the lines of visibility or positioning of the flags, which seems a bit odd to let some off but not everyone (so supporting that I may have got it wrong or that it was not a great decision - take your pick)
250 feels a little steep, did have occasion to be in Race control at Rye, and it didn't cost half of that. Had a very reasonable conversation with the CoC, who said fair enough, outlined the penalties that he could apply, I said that all seems a bit harsh and OTT on the other guy so agreed that I'd get my money back and he'd give the other chap a ticking off....
Told you it had come a very long way in a short time.
Don't get me wrong, humans still make mistakes, most recent ire at Rye was someone being upset because #2 crossed the start a gnat's chuff (OK, half a bumper) ahead of pole in Minis and who I think may have been met with the correct amount of incredulity at Race Control.
So it sounds like it may be Kimbolton's turn to have a silly season (kudos to the guy in Honda a couple of months ago there who got away with cutting a whole corner, made about ten plus places and got a five place penalty, some would say he was a lot naughty.... I'd say he was a mathematical genius :) )
