Testing on Fridays should be banned for all racers of school age and it is irresponsible of PFI to let this happen. Special dispensation should be allowed for S1 only as this is the national championship. TVKC is a club championship and kids should not be allowed a day off school to race at a clubbie. Nobody misses school on Friday to have training session for football, rugby, cricket, hockey etc that they play in a local league on Saturday so what is this any different to karting? The MSA need to take the lead on this but it will never happen as pressure will be applied by the owners of tracks. In terms of TVKC, they have been a victim of their own success but after this weekend and all the waiting around, I wonder how many dads will consider was it worth it. We have been at TVKC for 3 years and whilst the facities are fantastic the whole point of karting is racing. People need to wake up and get themselves to Fulbeck, Wombwell etc where you get on track every hour, get more track time, spend less money and win exactly the same trophy as TVKC!
