I'm not suggesting there's an easy solution. I'm just suggesting some possible solutions. I race mainly at Kim and whilton, last year whilton ran only 6-7 classes we had long heats and finals and most grids were full all year. they capped the entries to one full grid for each class it was brilliant, this year they have added a couple of classes. we still get good length heats and finals. But if for any reason heats over run the finals get trimmed. my point is the club had a winning formula last year but changed it slightly this year and I personally felt it was better last year. Kim cap there entries to around 200 per meeting the only grid allowed to double up is jtkm. Kim is great with good length heats and finals. except when they invite other championships to run as we'll. ie lgm & x30 rotax177 inter club and gear box karts. As I said earlier I loved clay this weekend it was very busy but the club did great. The racing was good and a great atmosphere. Everyone was bashing the cadets but they are kids so had a few false starts and a couple of accidents which resulted in red flags, but there were a couple of red flags in the older races as well.
