I share this opinion but it only works when there are enough competent race observers. Some tracks only have two (which isn't enough no matter what the track layout IMO). The competency of race observers can also contrast wildly also - I've seen one who would sit and chat with the marshals and, when one kart drove into the back of another and came off worse, he reported that the kart in front somehow caused the incident! He couldn't possibly have seen it properly but his word is gospel? This wasn't at Kimbolton but neither was it a one-off occurence. Both times the drivers got called in and couldn't understand what the clerk was talking about! :-o
