I just like anybody else would like the costs to be less. But for the costs to be less requires the whole of the karting industry to offer lower prices or the governing bodies to make the rules that reduce the costs.
The karting industry makes a lot of money out of tyres and karting classes often choose tyres on the basis of that choice making there class quicker, but as you have said soft tyres wear out more quickly.
Most of all it we the karters that drive up the cost of karting, how many times have heard the paddock rumour that such and such a wheel (or whatever) will give you 2 tenths and what do we do? Well you know the answer we go and buy that 2 tenths.
Honda Cadet is cheaper than Comer but Comer has more entries, TKM is cheaper than Rotax but Rotax has more entries. All of the karting classes are cheaper than Superkarts but Superkarts still get grids of over 60 karts?
The Tyro class was introduced at the start of this year as a LOW COST MSA entry level class, does anybody know where any are racing?
Bertie77, are you racing in Tyro to reduce your costs and support your doctrine?
