having raced both max and tkm, i can give honest view on both,max..fast, grippy, ok to drive, but also costly with rebuilds, sltho fewer than tkm, however, not by yourself....tkm on other hand, less grip, more driver input, more rewarding and fun to drive imho,rebuilds by yourself if capable, cheaper to run, just as much fun to drive,couple seconds slower per lap, but who cares..as for clutches, if you can find a decent well looked after motor, and good chassis, you will do well for around your budget, but it may be older, its worth looking for retirement package, which in long run, will save you a lot of money as you will get most of what you need, best to visit 3s this month, ask, ask, and ask again, and you wont go wrong, may even save you a headache in the end
