Ian hi, I know of your knowledge re tilly as I have had one of your old postings re set up etc with me since I started.

OK, cable stuck open. possible but why did it tick over OK, then without any prompting it just started racing? Chain damage to the carb. Doubtful as it was Ok for the one race after the off.

Carb not put back tightly. Again possible but doubtful as I did check and re check the screws.

Oil seals. Not sure about this, not even sure what they are be honest but agin I would have doubts.

The thing is Ian, before the strip down it revved OK. I must have disturbed something or done something wrong with the rebuild. I was hoping for a simple answer or a I had something similar kind of reply.

I think I know the answer as such and that is another strip down, replace all membranes etc and test test test. Am grateful for your time and advice as always.
