Colin,

You say; make the effort and show up, well if I lived near I would but as I don�t, I won�t thank you, however does that make my opinion or anyone else's on this board any more invalid??

I know from your years of effort that you have the best interests of karting at heart, but for you to say;

�I would hazard a guess that apathy reigns and very few people actually turn up to the AGM and people continue to come onto the forums to voice their views without really getting involved?�

And

�If anybody really feels strongly get along to Shenington on Saturday and make your views and opinions known!! Simple?�

These statements do not make any sense, you can carry any ideas you want to the meeting why does anybody not on the committee need to be there?

Three ideas from the forum:

1. Allow clubs to use Vega XLL harder tyre in Rotax Max

2. Allow clubs to use parc ferme rules to impose a 3 meeting rule on tyres used (it may be a problem at some clubs with no storage, however perhaps they could be bagged and sealed as S1 wets were last year then you can take them home with you)

3. Allow fixed gear ratios to be imposed for club meetings

Please don�t wait for club numbers to go down even further, but perhaps the ABkC already has a wealth of ideas to bolster club numbers next year? I will wait to read the minutes when you publish them.
