Hoddesdon kart club does pay to advertise its events because Dick and Martin rely on the revenue to pay for the running of the site.

We also pay for news items.

I also owe Martin some money so thank you for jogging my memory.

I think it's wrong to advertise an event on the forum without asking UK Martin's permission.

Odd thing is they don't charge for the market place so I also agree that you shouldn't advertise your kit on here when it's free in the 'market place'.

It's a case of interpretation as to what constitutes an advert.

Cosgrove78's didn't imho.

Sometimes it's a fine line and some people's idea of an advert is different to Ian's.

Ian usually admits he's wrong, EXCEPT on the Mac debate.

Foooooooooooooooooooooolhardy man.
