I have been tempted to 'store' a copy of the 'starting advice' I give so frequently but cutting pasting that seems rather 'impersonal' for a newbie. However, I would';t feel so 'guilty' pointing them to an 'agreed' piece of advice as cutting and pasting
However, who would write it and what should it say? If I wrote it, I'd slip in (sneaky) adverts for TKM and others would do the same for Rotax (etc.)
I suppose we could agree to put a 'promotion' for our classes in the 'Starting Karting' advice in an individual 'panel' limited to (let's guess) 100 words for each class and we could allow each class to include it's own 100 word promotion.
Out of interest, do we all feel that my repeated advice to:-
1) Post an: 'I am a newbis and need an Intro at XXX on YYY) 2) Go and HELP on that day 3) Go to 3 other races 4) THEN buy...
..... is the CORRECT advice? Nobody seems to have challenged it but that does NOT mean it is RIGHT! What do those who TOOK that advice think? Did it 'work' for them? Does anyone have BETTER advice or alternative advice?
