I am not sure of this cost, but I think the cost is the same as full full rebuild as everything is pulled apart and measured, if for instance they only do a top end service to a sealed engine, it�s taken for granted so to say the bottom is legal and the paper work returned to JAG saying what service was done the previous seal number etc etc....

But I am guessing speak with the sealing agents or JAG and find out, they are very open and honest...

Nothing is perfect, the seal is worth it IMHO as it allows them to offer the warrantee
Without this seal they wouldnt know who serviced the engine last and the quality of the craftmanship.
And yes I know the seal isnt 100% fool proof what is? but its enough to allow rotax to offer this service.
