re: Jetting chnages depending on air pressure, temp and humidity. No one day, sometimes hour, will need the same jetting for the max.
I thought you'd say that :-)
re: Have a read of http://www.karting1.co.uk/jetting-karting.htm Also, do some searches of this forum. Just stick in Rotax and have a look through and read a few threads. This is what I did when I started out and found loads of helpful tips.
I will.
Re: Considering how cold warden was yesterday, 12-83 seems a tad low. It depends on how heavy you are and your engine but I'd say try 12-85 for now as it'll give you a boost out of corners. I've been running 12-85 and found it better for lap times than 12-84, which was recommended to me.
I weighed in at 172kg (This is fat, but its 6kg less than when I started dieting!). I'm guessing I should run lower gearing as a fat peson to help get out of corners?
I'll try a 12/85 - I didn't want to yesterday as I didn'y have my Mychron fitted and didn't want to blow the engine up be over reving it.
Rotax's don't have a rev limiter do they?
Thanks...
