The pricing thing is a tough one. We have ALL heard rumours of Rotax Engines selling for HUGE figures. The HIGHEST price I have heard quoted was 'sold' to a VERY famous person (so the rumour goes) for �25,000!

However, none of us KNOW the facts on this.... just the rumours! What we DO know is that a well known championship winning team bought and sold (recently) motors CONSIDERABLY above the 'proper' price because he BOASTED of that fact on THIS web site! The bloke sure as HELL knows what HE is talking about.... probably... a HUGE amount better than I do! Would HE have boasted about paying 'over the top' prices if all the engine WERE the same?

For TKM.... being a devil's advocate..... it's POSSIBLE that some motors are changing hands at DAFT prices too but that people are keeping quiet about it. If that WAS the case.... how WOULD we know?

However, the BEST way to get a high price for something is to ADVERTISE it.... and we have NOT seen any adverts for TKMs going for 'silly money'. I accept, that argument is NOT proof..... but it's the best we HAVE!
