Matt was giving you the correct answer... Mathematically, it would be possible to measure and calculate these things.... however, in 40 years of racing, I don't think I have EVER calculated it: I've simply DRIVEN it and measured what WORKS!
Today, you can improve on that... if you feel you must. Buy even a basic Mychron III, learn to use it, look at the power curve display, adjust the exhasut length and then re-look at the power curve. You'll see the changes AND you'll see what it needs!
...... to be honest with you, if we could tell you the EXACT exhaust lengths... what would be the FUN in that? Assuming any of us KNOW the 'correct' length..... and how did WE find out what that was?
