not sure about wwhat gearing they use , but here are this years regs ..

Junior Tkm
Eligible karts are those fitted with junior (100cc) Tkm engines either clutched or direct drive. The engine must
be checked and sealed by KNE prior to race day. Chassis must be as the Tkm class regulations (found on the Talko
website) and listed in the 1998, 2001, 2004 and / or 2007 homologation.
To avoid any driver carrying too much lead on the kart the following weight bands apply.
Min Total Weight Max kart Weight Restrictor
128 kg 94 kg 20.5 Gold (all
136 kg 89 kg 22 Blue stamped
142 kg 83 kg 24 Purple Tkm)
Tyres may only be Maxxis Green slicks or Red wets. If you are part of the KNE Championship you are
restricted to 2 sets of slicks for the 10 round Championship. The tyres must be obtained from KNE kart
shop and returned on rims after each race to be held securely by KNE until the next meeting. The
tyres will be marked with the drivers ID.
