I know what you are all thinking! Oh no, another Rotax clutch problem! Well this one is a little strange. This is the old style clutch in case anyone was wondering.
Im trying to set the gearing up for Fulbeck ( 12-82 ). Having no tool to change sprockets onto drums, i have a 13t on one drum and a 12t on another. Now when i removed the 13t, everything was fine, i inspected the shoes etc and all is in order.
Now i placed the 12t drum on and when i tightened it up, its stuck. At first i thought i had missed out the washer on the inside, but thats there. The shoes havent moved, and the drum is clean so its not catching on that.
The 13t drum span perfectly when the nut was tightened up and i removed the 12t drum and put the 13t back on to check, and it was still spinning freely. So i am puzzled as to why this 12t drum is sticking, its not warped or bent in any way either.
If anyone can point out my mistake or give me any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated! Cheers, Rob
