Another thing i noticed aswell...
I race in the RAF Premier class, which is basically just 2 strokes - Leopards, Fireballs, KF2's, Rotax and a TM 100cc.
Now the guy with the TM seized his engine, and because it had no d*mn seal he could take the head and cylinder off (with a bit of force), remove the piston and pop round to pfi where they charged him a mere 67quid for a new piston and the barrel getting redone! And off he went racing the next day
Had i seized the Rotax (though it would take something to go majorly wrong) I would have been goofed cos of the seal, and having to send it to a JAG agent to get it rebuilt. And as im in the RAF class, we are on a very small budget, i cant afford to have to send the engine away and get charged a fortune every time something goes wrong. But i cant exactly afford to buy another engine that i could rebuild myself (i have some experience rebuilding).
So im pretty much stuck with it. Bit of a pain in the a*se to be honest.
