This is another 'classic'! If an old FAT man like me sat in your seat at 23 cm from the axle, my centre of gravity would be HUGELY further rear-wards than would a skinny 'runt'. Uper bodies like mine are MUCH heavier compared to my leg than for many people,
It's long been my point that this "23 cms from the axle" is total B*LL*CKS unless you are the 'stadard karting build' (skinny short..... and feeble.... tee hee!)
So, what sort of body shape are you? You should be measureing your CofG, not just guessing.... unless ou are very much in the mould of the skinny, short classic karter...
At worst, try leaning FORWARD (or backward) while driving (just to test!). You'll be SHOCKED at the difference it makes to your handling. If moving your weight forwad like that makes you kart handle better.... you'll know which way to move the seat.....
