not to mention potentially dangerous when someone goes into print blaming their 'ex-team' who if it were me, would get my brief to make the link between that statement/incident and ask for a retraction.
If 2 months ago I decide to take my car from Garage A to Garage B to have it serviced/maintained and it is then involved in an accident because it was unroadworthy and it goes to court and when asked to give mitigation I reply 'it's all the fault of Garage A...' even though Garage B have records showing what they did, then I'm pretty certain the Judge will take a dim view of that statement and point the finger of blame NOT in the direction of Garage A.
That's the great and frustrating thing about this forum. Threads starts off with a suggestion/accusation of a leading/senior max driver who is 'at it' and ends up with a totally unrelated driver pointing the finger at what appears to be an innocent 3rd party.
I think it's wholly appropriate that this forum has a 'red top' as a lot of the stories would easily make it into one of those papers!
