no one has challenged the msa to find out the on what grounds that the zip bumper complies to the regulations when they clearly state all bumpers must have a vertical face. with the number of children hurt due the ramp effect of the nosecone, it suprises me that there hasnt been a legal challenge against this as it breaches the regulations with no clear definiton as to how it complies "other than their say so" it no dought gives an advantage due to the aero effects of the nosecone, maybe why it is such a good kart. it would be interesting to see how the kart would perform with a standard nose cone. i must admit that it has crossed my mind to put a zip nosecone on to my sons intrepid kart to see if it has any effect on his times.
