Liathach/Anne, thank you for your support on this, clearly none of us want to see a continuation of the increased risk of flipping due to the Zip nose design. We owe it to our children to take this forward on safety grounds and seek an immediate resolution or workaround and as Tom is unable to race for a few months, I'll have a little more time to follow this up. I couldn't forgive myself if I did nothing and a child was paralysed or killed in a similar incident to Tom's on Sunday at PFI. (see associated thread re: fks cadet b-final red flag incident).
Anne, thank you for your kind words towards Tom, he is feeling quite low at the moment and these thoughts give him something to read whilst all his mates are enjoying their active school holidays. Regards
