Many thanks Dynamax, I too have been in contact with John Ryan today and we are going to work closely to bring this issue to a conclusion.
We are not interested in apportioning blame to anybody as Toms accident was a freak incident and accepted as such. Our intention is simply to provide the MSA with any evidence to support the suggestion that there is an increased risk of flipping if a Zip Storm nosecone is hit from the front and try to help prevent similar incidents occurring in the future with possibly more devastating outcomes.
I have just emailed a request to PFI to see if they have any video evidence of the FKS incident and copied John on that. John has advised that he can be contacted as per Dynamax's entry by email or by phone on his direct line 01753 765015, just to reinforce that he can only act on factual evidence and we are seeking that for Tom's incident.
Tom & I thank you all for your support and help in trying to help reduce the risk to our young drivers.
I'll keep you posted.
Regards
