We raced Fulbeck clubbie last weekend. In the JM final, straight out of the holding bay, the officials ran the pack round to the finish line on a red flag, stopped them and took the fuel caps off every kart and looked inside the tanks. I don't want to start a whodunnit with this thread, and I can say nobody left the grid, so I assume whatever they were looking for was not there. When I asked, I heard a few opinions about what and why in the paddock, and the effect it had on lap times, but does anyone know for sure what it was all about? Maybe I am just behind the times, and everybody else knows already?! If it is what the paddock talk said it was, Jet-tech might have to develop a new algorithm to their software to cope with a quite different set of stoichiometric circumstances !
