OK, so today the shell oil arrived in the post. So me and the daughter had been looking forward to getting the kart going for the first time in our hands.

Once we had the fule pipe clear of air, I was expecting the kart to start quite easily, oh you old fool...

Plug is new and loose, pull pull pull and nothing. I can get it to start with a few drops of fuel in the chamber but once it has burnt of it cuts out. Just had checked the carb gause filter and this looks ok. Once i had the carb apart you can see the air go back into the fuel pipe. Put it all back together and took plug and and turn the engine over, instantly I can see the air bubbles rise and pipe fill with fule.

So, I am happy that there is spark, it appears that the fuel is being sucked in.

Then I set the two jets to .5 and 1.5 as per another thread here but still no show.

Any ideas would be much appreciated, its either that or I am going to end up with one almighty right forearm....
