I can't believe Tal-ko have found enough time to complain about something like that.
They should be trying to save their own ar$es and not trying to knobble the opposition with futile whining.
Do they seriously think that kids are going to flock to the TKM because it is SLOWER and out of the ARK?
The juniors are putting in faster laps than seniors at some tracks and I think they adapt to the speed increase quite well because they are young and not a stupid as we adults like to think they are.
Typical British attitude to a problem of their own making, their heads might be out of the sand but it's still in their eyes.
Did they really think that the 4/ or the new TAG would seriously be a rival to the Max?
I'm really starting to hate TKM now.
I hated Rotax because of their lack of development, but now they realise that people WILL complain until they get a better product and not put up with crap.
The Max is now a reliable product with only the SEAL (Honk Honk!) to be disposed of to make it almost perfick.
The warrany seems to work well and it gives people a security if they are on a budget.
Our engine is on 40+ hours and the bottom end hasn't been touched for well over a year.
If we had been running TKM we would have been using three engines and I would have spent MORE on servicing than a Max.
Our second engine hasn't been touched for maybe four or five years.
Parts prices are still silly and it will be interesting to see if they drop when the exchange rate does.
