BRP is not going to develop and build a rotary engine just for karting; that�s far too minor a business. Such an engine would have to fit at least two or more of their far more important products. I cannot see the weigh/space saving being of such benefit in their watercraft, outboard motors or snowmobiles, so I wonder.
Woelfle/Aixro don�t primarily target the karting market either, so whatever they do won�t primarily have in mind the whims of one national motorsport association like the MSA. That too would be recipe for failure.
John: They just didn�t have to production capacity at the time � it�s been greatly expanded in the meantime.
