At the moment the TAG engine has not proven itself. A 2kg rise in weight would not reduce performance much but would help a few more drivers get on weight. Unless TAG is made compulsory heavier drivers could still use Direct Drive, as will most existing drivers. I do not know if CIK chassis will be as good as the existing TKM chassis as these have been tuned to the tyres and engine power. The camber/caster angle will probably not be 'perfect'. However I would expect them (CIK) to be got to a competitive level. Would be interesting. The existing Extreme motors are very reliable. If weight was to go up a significant amount a reduction of head volume to say 11.5 cc on burette or 11.1 by digital burette would up the power to compensate. Would be nice anyway as Junior TKM lap times are so close to Extreme in spite of the Juniors usually running more teeth on the axle sprocket.
