No I am not saying that or being derogatory in any way to club racing, I love the local meetings and the relaxed and fun atmosphere , sorry if it came out that way.
We and most of my friends who do the local clubbies do it mainly for fun and the adrenalin buzz , they can find more than a few tenths with an extra practice session or another set of tyres and more time on setup, so the difference a chassis makes is not the main factor holding them back. The point I was trying to get across was that this will bring more people into TKM for the fun factor and once a month racing. We for one will be bolting a BT82 on as often as possible and joining in the Fun at Hooton, I am also getting my MSA pack for next year so I can join in as well, using our old chassis with a lard ass seat in it lol. If you are a regular front runner , then yes it will mean more testing of different chassis to find the best one that suites your style, or gives you the competitive edge. But a chassis will not suddenly make a mid pack racer run at the top on its own, or make a top runner into an also run.
