I started at 49 and am now 51 and effin love it as well.
When you look at all the Rotax classes and championships at club and national level, is there a gap in minimax racing which would benefit karting by having Dadson run another minimax championship. I dont think so.
All I am saying is that championships such as Dadson depend on the clubs to run events where their championships can visit once or twice a year. But by running minimax they are going to take club competitors away from the clubs.
I dont have a problem if they are providing something that the clubs cant. But Minimax and Junior max are some of the best supported classes at club level. So where is the benefit apart from more profit for the organiser. And at what cost to clubs when their numbers drop further.
You might think its only one or two, but that can be the difference too clubs from breaking even to losing money running a meeting. how many clubs can afford to lose money constantly before they close.
