i would say to start a kart my process would be, Pull the fused switch (on/off kill switch thingy near steering wheel and starter button. Lift choke lever right up. obviously we have enough fuel in tank!!! Hit the starter button so it tries to start and at the same time pull on the throttle pedal to encourage it to fire up. Some may say NO choke, some may say No throtte.!!This is what works for me when i have not started my kart for a while (in my case over 2 months. I would expect my kart to fire up within 3 seconds of the starter motor engaging the engine. After this i would try again without touching the throttle. If still no joy then i do have issues!!!! Try this method if you have not done so already. It will need to turn over at correct speed so a fully charged battery is a starting point.
