ok im still pretty inexperienced in tkm but the biggest things i found last year were getting the right carb settings, they aint hard to get right tho, right gearing, temps i wouldnt worry about...air cooled so jus strap the engine on n go...i think this year with the new tyres it will add a new element but there is a narrow operating window so u cant go massively wrong like with the old tyres..
....in terms of revs...yeh theyre important....but that goes hand in hand with the gearing, if your not doing 15500 along the straight then you wont get good top end, last year the best drivers could use 78 teeth sprocket and manage to carry speed throough the corners and gave them good top end, but others like me had to use 80 or 82 to be competative in the corners and on acceleration, but it meant top end ud jus be slower....
...think it will be a lot of trial and error, and by no means am i experienced enuf to tell you the ins and out...theres a lot better guys on here LOL
