This will give anybody who has a 10/11 year old even more of a headache.
Already there is a new cadet chassis homologation due in January 2011 and with this you will have to decide to either to stick with Comer and use your current chassis for 2 or even 3 more years which is likely to become uncompetitive or buy a new chassis for 2K and use it for 2 years . If the new Super Cadet class is introduced then you may decide to go that route and spend at least 4K on a brand set up ( Wheels tyres spare engine etc) only to have to swap classes again 2 years racing. I am afraid this is an example of the authorities making decisions for their customers without consulting them or thinking through the logical course of events this change would create.
As far as a new single engine cadet class using a JM supplied engine you would be mad to opt for that as they have tried it and sold several hundred WTP engines, encouraged new and existing customers into a new class and now for commercial reasons have dropped that class and want another go by inventing yet another class which they are potentially the sole engine supplier.
If this change happens in 2011 a 11 year old would have to decide between.

At the moment the cadet classes are not suffering due to the economic climate but if we make entry even more confusing then it may well be a catastrophic decision.
