I think we have forgotten what Paul stated.. He already has a Rotax engine... KF at 300 is good value when you consider thats about 2000 cheaper than new... However.. for fun... I'm not so sure it represents good value or should i say better value to what he already has. For Fun he can also change his own piston in the Rotax (if needed) no seal no major cost as such.. Call it DIY rotax. In my view KF is the wrong way to go for the fun karter they are not as bullet proof as the Rotax and they do need looking after, Rotax, put away pull out and go... KF you really need to keep the carb happy, don't leave fuel in them etc etc and although i've not done any real research i'd say the difference in Piston cost are very little... But hey i am happy to be wrong. If you want to go super quick, then why go to KF3 go all the way to KF1 and you'll be quick.
Just a point of view.
