Aquila, I'm just over 11 Stone and shorter than most. I am on the lighter side of the drivers. I know their are exceptions (my brother only weighs 10 stone and has to put a hell of a lot of lead on). My point was, for the longevity and rebuilding the class, its not attractive when people are speculating about it! The problem is, even if they got it perfect (which they never will) people would still speculate and that doesn't make the class attractive.
Traxtar, I was really sceptical of the new tyres. I thought EXACTLY the same as you at the beginning of the year. But honestly, the tyres are a great move. They are not too sticky for the class. OK, it probably is easier to drive for a complete novice and get closer to the pace. But those last 3 tenths are still only occupied by the top Drivers and lets remember, most peple can do a reasonable lap time but how consistently can they do it and how safely and quickly can they get through the traffic? Its no good just being quick, you still need the complete package to find your way to the front.
In my opinion they've made good steps forward with the class just please, please alter it to just have one weight limit!
