Guys.....

Some of you will have heard about placebos. They have a MASSIVE effect on patient's health; not a soul in the medical world will deny that they DO have an effect on the patient.

However, not MANY Doctors will tell you that a little bit of frutose in tablet form will have a MASSIVE effect on a patient if they KNOW it's fructose..... and that's what's in may placebos.....

You'll also get millions of people telling you that Homeopathy actually has a REAL effect on an illness.....

Now........ if the patient does not KNOW that they have been given a 'placebo' or a (tee hee) 'homeopathic medicine', (i.e., secretely replaceing some of the sugar in their tea with the SAME amount of fructose sweetner as sugar).... it'll have EXACTLY ZERO effect on their illness.

So... what we can see is that it's NOT the ACTUAL effect of the fructose in the placebo that has the effect, it's the BELIEF that they are taking some REAL medicine......

Those effects are NOT limited to medicine: being told that adjusting your rear-bumper to the stiffest settings will then make drivers CERTAIN that it has had the effect thatey have been TOLD to expect.

So..... the 'test' of the effect is to get someone ELSE to change the rear bumper settings from one extreme to another WITHOUT TELLING YOU, on MORE than one occassion and see if you, the driver, can actually TELL what they have changed and by how much..... and in which DIRECTION.

If you don't want to THINK about what Traxtar is telling you (bumpers are too damned flexible to have any detectable effect) then try that multiple 'blind testing' and you WILL be able to know if it makes the changes you THINK it does.....

In my LONG experience, I would be willing to bet that 95% of you COULD NOT TELL IF YOU HADN'T BEEN TOLD!!!!!!!!!!

And, before discussing this will Traxtar's Dad (QoT) quite recently.....I beleived that it DID make a difference. Two minutes thought about this subject made me realise that Traxtar and QoT are RIGHT about this and that I had been fooled by a 'placebo' for all those years!

Be brave.... TEST yourself..... do a blind testing....... then you'll KNOW the answer. If you guess more accuartely than 50% of the time, it IS having an effect anmd you CAN tell the difference....... but you will NOT be able to.... as you'll see......

My biggest and safest bet is that MOST of you won't have the BALLS to do that 'blind test'..... we'll see if I'm right.....
