If Alan was filming events simply for DVD sale to competitors then i have no leg to stand on, the quality of his programme is no concern to me...... BUT he is put this tripe on the TV week in week out and for many people that all they know or see of Karting, their perception is based on Alans representation of S1, and its not good.

He DOES much for the Sport but, DO FOR, i am not so sure. I personally think he does more damage, unless Karting in general is really as haphazard as it is made out..... What is clear about everything he puts out is he hasnt the first clue how to structure a programme, the story especially his erratic use od On board cameras etc. He just about bodges the technical aspects, sometimes.

I know a vast amount more about Broadcast Journalism than most on here (having studied it) so i am qualified to speak on the subject. Anyway, no matter WHO you are, everyone is valid to an opinion as the programme can be viewed by people that DO stuff, and those that just enjoy it as fans.... Perhaps we arent allowed to be fans
