I agree with the above point's,a drive through penalty would hit front runners more than points on their license as there championship placing would then be at peril. If marshalls/clerks enforced the rule whatever they chose to do then incidents would get less, it woudn't stop as people will still take the gamble to get away with it but it would be a start. I've lost count the amount of times my son has been rammed on the rolling lap, even sometimes being rammed of the track,again visit to the clerk "Everyone was doing it" was the reply, last meeting the clerk red flagged and stopped the JNR Rotax class after a poor rolling start, he informed everyone that any ramming will result in points, he re-started the race and within one lap my sons rear bumper was again hanging off reulting in a black/orange flag, end of race!! unfortunatley we didn't get the other kart number so nothing could be done but the point is that even with a direct threat to everyone the ramming continued within one lap! says it all, no-one really cares.
