I know James Raven (no. 2 JTKM) ran the purple all year, and has been constantly very quick. Will Van Es(no. 3 JTKM) seemed to err towards the lighter weight but I think that helped him to offset some of his natural mechanical grip due to being very tall, he has been consistantly quick too. The vast majority run blue and gold. If your that big Talko give you the option of going to seniors on the year of your 16th birthday. We have back to backed Gold and blue several times and have always gone back to the blue! Lap times have always been similar but my lad prefers stabilty gained by the extra weight under heavy braking. Talko have tried to run a Junior Intermediate class for more experience and larger drivers and nearly killed TKM. I can't see what else they can do.
